### LinkedIn Live Recording
### AI is writing 2X the code. What happens to the engineers?
On October 6, 2026, Ippon sponsored three C-Suite technology leaders to speak candidly about software engineering and AI. AI writes a real share of the code now. Three IT executives in financial services on what that leaves for engineers, and what regulators will expect.
What we settle:
- How much more code AI actually produces for us, and what engineers do with the time.
- What regulators will expect from a bank that ships AI-assisted code, and how to be ready.
- What we look for when we hire engineers now, and which skills stopped mattering.
By the end of the video, you'll walk away with a defensible AI approach helping deliver the outcomes your company expects.
Who you'll hear from:
Paul Devitt PhD, Sr. Director, Software Engineering, GEICO:
Technology executive with a proven record of establishing and growing organizations in both high-growth periods and transformations through best in class technology, talent acquisition / management, customer engagement, and bottom-line focus within Insurance, Commercial Real Estate, Financial, Marketplace, eCommerce, SaaS, and Manufacturing industries.
Mike Lempner, Chief Technology Officer at Mission Lane:
Mission Lane is a purpose-driven company that believes everyone deserves the opportunity to access financial products that are easier to understand and can help them thrive. Mike is a board member at the Richmond Technology Council. Eight years in technology roles at Mission Lane and has over 25 years in consultative and technology roles.
Andy LaMora, Chief Technology Officer at Ippon:
Technology executive with a proven track record of delivering leadership and award-winning solutions to public and private sector customers. I lead the outstanding consulting team at Ippon USA. His team has partnered with customers to create award-winning, multi-year programs. In addition, Andy serves on the Advisory Board (and am the former Chair) for the Yellowstone Ecological Research Center.
