An Introduction to Dr. Mohamed Shehab:

Mohamed Shehab is a professor in the Department of Software and Information Systems, College of Computing and Informatics, University of North Carolina at Charlotte. He is the Director of the Lab of Information Integration, Security, and Privacy. His research interests lie in security and privacy, mobile and web security, access control, and usable security. Shehab has led projects that focused on software development, building large cloud services, IoT applications, Bluetooth indoor localization, and recently GenAI-based chatbots, focusing on mobile user behavior change. Shehab focuses on teaching mobile app development (Android, iOS, Firebase, Google APIs, and AWS Cloud), IoT app development (ESP32, Particle.io, and AWS IoT Core Services), and security topics (access control, AWS, security scanning, and dynamic and static analysis).
