What does the fixed cost include?

The cost includes standing up Snowflake on your existing cloud architecture, RBAC establishment, and one data source (to be defined during scoping) migrated onto the Snowflake platform. Learn more here.

What does the fixed cost not include?

No responsible partner would commit to creating a new complex data transformation in just 10 weeks. Data transformations and optimizations will be straightforward, and illustrate and demonstrate the pattern for enrichment. Ippon will ensure connectivity to your BI tools, but will not create reports or dashboards. Learn more here.

How do you set expectations that meet my business requirements?

The first 4 weeks of the project are foundational. At this stage, it is crucial that we collaborate closely on defining scope, understanding, and refining business requirements, and defining clear metrics for success.

What does the 10-week project look like?

The first 2 weeks are an assessment and discovery so Ippon consultants can work with you to understand your goals, tech environment, and success criteria. Weeks 3 and 4 are about standing up the Snowflake instance including configurations and RBAC. Weeks 5 and 6 are about data ingestion from one data set. Weeks 7 and 8 are about preparing a subset of that data for analytics and reporting. Finally, weeks 9 and 10 are about deploying the tool to end users, defining the next steps, and any additional support required.

What are the roles and responsibilities of our joint project team?

Given the short timeline, close collaboration is critical for the project to be successful. We will need open communication and availability for knowledge transfer, interviews, architecture overviews, and assistance working through any blockers rapidly.

Is support included after implementation?

Support is one of the main focuses of weeks 9 and 10; further development work will be available at preferred rates.

Can you help us build a long-term Snowflake/Data strategy?

Yes! Ippon is a valued transformation partner of many organizations, having defined and executed many strategic roadmaps. 

What Snowflake training is included for my team?

Ippon adopts a “player/coach” mentality and works closely with our client’s teams to ensure they’re skilled up. Ippon will further recommend Snowflake training for client team members.

What happens if the project goes over the fixed timeline?

Scoping and expectation management at the start of the project is essential for both teams to be successful. Should additional time be required, you and Ippon will negotiate how to tackle this based on the nature of the delays.
