For the first episode of Data Sips, a special miniseries of The Data Pour, Steve had the pleasure of chatting with Tony Shaw (founder and CEO of our Data Sips partner, DATAVERSITY).
Getting to know Tony Shaw:
Tony is the founder and CEO of DATAVERSITY. He is responsible for the overall editorial and business strategy of the organization, which conducts educational conferences, training, and publishing activities focused on the area of enterprise data management. He co-founded the Semantic Technology Conference (SemTech), which was sold in 2010 to WebMediaBrands (Nasdaq: WEBM). Prior to founding DATAVERSITY, he started a dotcom in the identity management space (which went the way of most dotcoms) and was the president of the Technology Transfer Institute (TTI). He also facilitates the strategic technology forum for CTOs, called Nemertes [Next].
As we continue to film Season 3 of the Data Pour, we still have a few more slots available, so if you would like to join us or have a venue recommendation, let us know!
